Radhakrishnan Nair – Member Advisory Committee
Radha Nair (Radhakrishnan Nair) is the Director of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning at Prashanti Nilayam Campus. He is a 1984 batch alumnus of Xavier’s Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur. During his career spanning over 30years he has worked in diverse industries and cultures. He started his career at Indal (subsidiary of Alcan, Montreal) and further worked with Eicher Group, Mahindra Ford, Tech Mahindra, fka. Mahindra British Telecom and Citibank N.A.
Since 2002 Radha Nair has been with the Tata Group. In the Group he worked on multiple assignments. He started in the Group as Head of HR for VSNL when the Navratna Company was taken over by the House of Tata’s. He had two stints in Group HR as Vice President Learning and Director Tata Management Training Centre, Pune and Vice President, TAS Office and Talent Acquisition. Between April 2007 and October 2010 for close to three and a half years, Radha Nair worked as the CHRO of Tata Steel, based out of Jamshedpur. In 2012 Radha Nair left the Tata Group to be in Kerala where he joined Federal Bank as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Radha Nair had been an ardent follower of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. In early 2014 he joined the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning where he guides students into academic excellence and moral upliftment. Radha believes that he has to live a spiritually enriched life to be able to be of genuine use to his fellow beings and to the humanity at large. His motto is “Help Ever, Hurt Never”.
Radha brings with him a model of Organizational Leadership which is based on a strong belief of Values and spirituality.
